Buying Xuan paper on the roll multiplies everything — including every defect. A single width variation ruins a scroll's mounting plan; a wavy edge shows up after weeks of brushwork, not at the unboxing; and moisture during container transit curls an entire roll that no classroom can flatten. Dealers who cut sheets from rolls add a fourth risk: inconsistent absorbency across the length means the same buyer's sheet behaves differently depending on where it was cut.

Our roll program controls the three properties that decide whether a roll is usable end to end: width consistency is measured and documented per batch, edges are cut clean before winding, and absorbency grading runs along the production batch so the sheet cut at metre one behaves like the sheet cut at metre fifty. Rolls are wound and moisture-packed for long transit, and the width, grade, and length spec is confirmed before quoting. Buyers unroll and test a current-production sample before committing volume.

The roll line adds per-batch width measurement and edge-cut records, and the buyer approval document set — unrolled sample sections, spec sheets, and approval records — is prepared before mass production.
